Kaptain named Co-Editor of the Journal of Performing Arts Leadership in Higher Education
Laurence Kaptain, Dean and Penniman Family Professor of Music College of Music and Dramatic Arts (CMDA) has been named Co-Editor of the Journal of Performing Arts Leadership in Higher Education, an on-line peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the enrichment of leadership in the performing arts in higher education. Nick Erickson, assistant professor of theatre, has been named to the Editorial Board.

LSU Theatre alumni and students have appeared in over 40 feature films, including: The Aviator, Runaway Jury, Erin Brockovich, Ocean's 11 & Ocean's 12, Pop Rock, Friday Night Lights, and Torn Apart; in over 60 television series, including: Deadwood, Medium, Desperate Housewives, As the World Turns, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Ed, American Idol, and ER; in over 20 Broadway and regional theatres, including: Steppenwolf, The Court Theatre, The Goodman Theatre, The Mark Taper Forum, The Doolittle Theatre, Shakespeare & Co., Colorado Shakespeare Festival; and in countless commercials.
